Scoreboard: Autism: 1,082,353. Measles: 644
In 2014, there was hysteria surrounding the 644 cases of measles that were recorded as a result of the Disney outbreak. In that same year, there were 1,082,353 cases of autism diagnosed yet it barely received the media attention it so justly deserves. Instead, there is a virtual “feeding frenzy” with the media about the need to vaccinate.
Parents frequently complain to me of being bullied and made to feel like idiots by their pediatrician for even questioning the current vaccination policy( by age 18 a child is required to have 71 vaccines). Shouldn’t parents have the right to make “informed choices” regarding their own and their family’s health?
As a direct result of this measles ‘outbreak,’ California’s legislation has made it mandatory that for a child to attend school public or private they must show proof of vaccination. Louise Habakus and some attorneys affiliated with New York University School of Law believe that both basic human rights and the statute of informed consent are being violated by state mandates like California as well as federal vaccination mandates.
