What I commonly see in most of my patients who go on antidepressants, is what I would call a ‘soul-deadening.’ They feel as if they have lost something. I have a number of patients who were artists, who were less depressed with the medication, but every time they use it they say they have lost something in their artwork, that they are no longer able to express themselves on a deep a level as they used to be able to.
In homeopathy, we believe that true healing must come from within. Cure proceeds from the inside out and the problem with antidepressants is the exact opposite, in that it is moving from the outside in.
