HBOT is a new powerful method of introducing ozone into the body. This unique technique was developed in Germany and has recently been introduced in the US. The typical ozone treatment utilizes 180cc of patient’s blood which is ozonated and then returned to the patient.
With HBOT 170cc of blood is drawn out and is ozonated under pressure allowing more ozone to enter into the red blood cells. This blood is then returned to the patient followed by another 170cc of blood being withdrawn and ozonated. This is repeated 10 times and is referred to as 10 pass ozone treatment. At the Renaissance Health Centre we have found that compared to the traditional ozone treatments the HBOT is more than 10 times more potent.
