Vaxxed II: The People’s Truth Part 1 of 3

The original documentary Vaxxed: From Cover-Up to Catastrophe was released in 2016 and has been a thorn in the science world ever since it was removed from the Tribeca Film Festival that year.  The documentary is about a senior scientist whistleblower at the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) who claimed that CDC scientists had destroyed data that showed a significant increased risk in autism diagnosis among black boys who received and MMR vaccine before age 36 months.   The movie also features the parents of three boys who developed autism after an MMR vaccine.  While Vaxxed was severely criticized by U. S. mainstream media before it had even been shown for being “anti-vaccine”, the film actually requested four very reasonable actions:

1. That Congress subpoena whistleblower Dr. William Thompson and investigate the CDC fraud;
2. That Congress repeal the 1986 National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act and hold manufacturers liable for injury caused by their vaccines;
3. That three separate unpaired vaccines for measles, mumps, and rubella be made available immediately;
4. That all vaccines be classified as pharmaceutical drugs and tested accordingly.

Despite being removed from Tribeca, Vaxxed opened at a theatre in New York City days later and played to large audiences for several weeks.  The director, producers (one of whom was Polly Tommey, a parent of a vaccine-injured child featured in the film), and other team members took part in Q & A sessions after film showings across the country.  They were astounded by the numbers of people who lined up after every showing to tell them their own stories of vaccine injury and how it had affected the lives of their loved ones and themselves.  Polly Tommey began live-streaming those stories unedited on Facebook (until she was censored) and Periscope TV.

Later that year, Vaxxed sent a “Vaxxed Nation” bus tour to communities across the country where people could visit and record their stories about how vaccines have harmed them.  Names of the vaccine-injured were written on the outside of the bus, totaling 7,044 by the time tour was over.
